Cash as the recipient
Connect the account named as the check’s recipient on the correct network.
On the Checks page, use Manage a check and its Cash check action. Open a Check in Your checkbook and choose Prepare cashing to fill that form, or paste its 64-character Check ID.
Enter the exact XRP amount to collect. It must not exceed the check allowance.
Review the amount and Check ID, approve in the wallet, and wait for validation.
Refresh the account and Your checkbook to confirm receipt and removal. Open its document to inspect ledger events and the amount delivered, when provided by validated metadata.
Cashing uses the check once
This version requests an exact amount using Amount. It does not offer flexible DeliverMin cashing. Successfully cashing a check removes it, including when the requested amount is below the maximum; the remaining allowance is not saved for later.
If the sender has insufficient funds, cashing can fail while the check remains available. A failure may still cost a network fee. Confirm the check’s state before trying again.
Cancel a check
Connect the sender or recipient account. After expiration, another account can also cancel it.
Use Manage a check on the same Checks page, enter the Check ID and choose Cancel check, or open its checkbook document and choose Prepare cancellation.
Review and approve the cancellation. No check payment is made to the recipient.
Refresh Your checkbook and confirm that the object has been removed. Historical entries remain available in loaded transaction history.
Native XRP checks only
Ledger object lists may show checks denominated in issued assets. Do not enter those IDs into an XRP cashing request. This release blocks loading an issued-asset check into the XRP cash form.
