Create two practice accounts

  1. Open XRPFrontend in two separate tabs. Leave XRPL Testnet selected in both.

  2. In the first tab, select Connect wallet → Create a test wallet. Wait for the faucet to fund it. Call this account A.

  3. Repeat in the second tab for account B. Copy B’s address from Receive.

  4. Keep both tabs open. Do not refresh them or use the address bar to navigate away. Open documentation in another tab.

Exercise 1 · send and receive

  1. In A, open Send and enter B’s address with an amount of 1 XRP.

  2. Review, approve with the test wallet, and wait for the success message.

  3. In B, refresh Accounts. Check the incoming payment and matching transaction hash.

Exercise 2 · create and finish escrow

  1. In A, create a 1 XRP escrow to B with release several minutes ahead.

  2. After validation, open the creation transaction and record A’s address and its Sequence.

  3. Wait until the release time has passed on the ledger. In A or B, use Escrow → Finish with those details.

  4. Confirm validation, refresh B, and inspect the finished escrow payment.

  5. For cancellation practice, create a separate escrow with a later Cancel after time. Leave it unfinished, wait until that deadline, then cancel it.

Exercise 3 · create and cash a check

  1. In A, create a check to B for a maximum of 1 XRP. Copy its Check ID from Account checks.

  2. In B, choose Checks → Cash, paste the ID, and request exactly 1 XRP.

  3. After validation, refresh both accounts. The check should no longer be listed.

  4. Create another check and cancel it to practice the cancellation flow.

Record results, including failures

For each exercise, record the network, operation, transaction hash, validated result, and balances before and after. Also try an invalid address and an amount with seven decimal places; XRPFrontend should stop these before signing.

If funding fails, wait and try later rather than generating many wallets. The public faucet and Testnet can be temporarily unavailable or reset. A successful software-wallet exercise does not establish compatibility with every physical Ledger device.
