Issued tokens and trust lines
Identify an XRPL token by issuer and currency, then enable its trust line before receiving it.

Token categories
The asset list has three simple filters: All tokens, Meme and Other. Meme contains tokens explicitly labeled as memes by the provider, subject to reviewed issuer-specific corrections. Other includes every remaining token: utility, gaming, stablecoins, real-world assets and tokens with no classification. Other is not a claim that a project has utility or is safer.
The filters are visible buttons on desktop and mobile. All tokens clears the filter. Older category links map to the simplified groups. Browsing scans bounded portions of the sorted index, with Next continuing the scan; counts show current-page matches. Name, ticker and issuer search still spans all groups.
Token data links to a correction email prefilled with the exact issuer and currency. Include official project evidence. A request does not automatically change classification or verify project claims.
Open a token market
Select a token name or logo in Tokens to open its market page. The page brings together the token identity, indicative price, reported 24-hour change, volume, holders and market capitalization with its chart and an XRP-to-token swap panel. Metrics use their displayed units; unavailable values are not zero. On desktop the swap sits beside the chart. On smaller screens the layout stacks, with a Swap shortcut to reach the trading panel.
The chart stays on the token you opened when you reverse the swap direction. Its history is labeled in USD and is separate from executable trade quotes. The swap starts with XRP and the exact token currency and issuer. The existing preview, fee disclosure, live balance checks and wallet approval apply. Limit order switches the swap panel in place with the selected assets and amount; the token chart stays visible. Issuer address, full currency code and an indexed pool link appear below the trading area. Market details refresh every thirty seconds while the page is visible.
A token has an issuer and a currency code
XRPL issued assets are identified by both the issuer address and the currency code. Two tokens with the same ticker can be unrelated. Check the full issuer address and network before enabling a trust line, sending, receiving, or reviewing market information. A token name, icon, or ticker is display metadata, not proof of legitimacy.
What enabling a trust line does
A trust line tells the XRPL account that it is willing to hold an issued asset from a particular issuer. The trust line is a ledger object: creating it requires a signed XRPL transaction and a network fee. It does not buy or mint the token, and it starts with a zero balance. The line can affect the account’s owner reserve under current ledger rules.
Open Tokens and select the asset you intend to hold.
Compare its issuer address, currency code, and Mainnet/Testnet label with a trusted source.
Choose Enable trust line and review the issuer and currency in the on-page confirmation.
Approve the TrustSet transaction in the connected XRPL wallet.
After the validated result, refresh Assets. The enabled token appears at 0 until tokens are sent to the account.
Balances, sends, and receives
Assets displays native XRP and trust lines for the selected account. A zero token balance means the trust line exists but the account does not currently hold units. Send is available only when the account has a positive balance. Receive shares the receiving account and asset identity; the sender still needs the correct issuer and currency.
Token creation is temporarily unavailable
The token creation tool is paused. It does not currently issue tokens through XRPFrontend. There is no XRPFrontend token creation fee or affiliate commission.
XRPL issued tokens use an issuer address and currency code. A distribution wallet needs a trust line to that exact asset; issuer authorization and account settings may also apply. Creating a token does not create liquidity or establish its value.
Names, icons, and market listings
The XRPL records the issuer, currency, and balances. An optional display name or photo depends on issuer metadata hosted separately, such as an issuer’s domain and XRPL TOML file. A direct public HTTPS image URL is more dependable than a sharing page. Wallets and token directories may not support every metadata field.
Creating a token does not create a market, establish liquidity, guarantee a price, or make an asset safe. Treat unverified issuers and market quotes carefully. Where the interface credits an external market-data provider, that credit identifies a data source and does not claim a partnership or endorsement.
Network and fee checks
A Mainnet token and a Testnet token are different ledger assets, even if they share an issuer-like address and code. Use Testnet to practice. Mainnet transactions affect real assets and require enough XRP for network fees and ledger reserves. XRPFrontend does not hold the issuer or distribution wallet keys.
Swap tokens and tokenized assets
Open Swap from the top navigation, Markets → Swap, or Trade next to an asset. The asset picker lists positive wallet balances first and shows the balance beside each asset. Choose a source, enter the amount to spend, and inspect the estimated output. Preview uses public XRPL order-book or liquidity pool, so you can inspect a price without a connected wallet or enough funds. It is indicative. The app checks an executable wallet-specific ledger path, live balance, reserve and one-percent maximum-spend cap before presenting the transaction for review, then rechecks the route before signing.
The Swap tool charges a 0.5% platform fee for eligible XRP-related swaps. When spending XRP, the fee uses the XRP trade ceiling and is included in your entered budget. When receiving XRP, it uses the XRP output before fees. The swap and fee execute in an all-or-nothing Batch on a supported network and wallet. Token-to-token swaps have no platform fee. Review the network fee, maximum spend and receive target before signing. See Fees and reserves for rounding and affiliate details.
