Before you begin

You need an internet connection and a modern browser. For Ledger USB, use a compatible desktop browser such as Chrome or Edge. You can explore public account information without owning a signing wallet.

Your first session

  1. Open XRPFrontend and choose a service or use Wallet & profile in the header.

  2. Check the network selector. The explorer starts on Mainnet; choose Testnet explicitly for practice. This tab remembers a selected network across reloads and Xaman redirects.

  3. Select Connect wallet. Choose Ledger, Xaman, CROSSMARK, Create a test wallet, or enter a public address under View account.

  4. After connecting, check the full account address and the connection mode shown above the workspace tabs.

  5. Wait for the balance and validated ledger number to load. If loading fails, use the troubleshooting guide before preparing a payment.

Make a first payment

Use the Testnet walkthrough to create a sender and recipient in two tabs. It takes you through a payment, escrow, and check with small test amounts. Read Signing transactions before approving any operation on Mainnet.

Documentation opens in a separate tab from the workspace so you can keep a temporary test wallet alive while reading. Return to the original workspace tab when following the instructions.
