Get the recipient’s details
Ask the recipient for a classic XRP address and whether they require a destination tag. Confirm the network separately. XRPFrontend’s Send form accepts classic addresses beginning with r, not X-addresses.
A tag helps a service assign a payment to the right customer when several customers share one address. An exchange can require a tag even when a simple address check does not reveal that requirement. Use exactly the details shown on its deposit screen.
Make the payment
Connect the sending wallet and open Send.
Paste the recipient’s full address into Recipient address. Verify it against the original source, including after copying.
Select one or more assets using the checkboxes and enter an amount for each. XRP accepts up to six decimal places. Each token is identified by its exact currency and issuer.
Enter Destination tag if the recipient supplied one. Zero is a valid tag; leaving the field empty is different from entering zero.
Select Review payment for one asset or Review batch payment for multiple assets. All selected assets go to the same recipient and tag. Check every amount, issuer, any maximum token spend, network, and network fee.
Approve in your wallet and wait for a validated result. Open the transaction link and share its hash with the recipient if needed.
Sending multiple assets
Select up to eight different assets. One asset uses a normal Payment; multiple assets use one all-or-nothing XRPL Batch. XRPFrontend adds no platform fee for these direct sends. Network fees and any issuer transfer fees still apply. If any inner payment fails, none completes, though the network fee may still be charged. The connected node must confirm the required Batch amendments and your signing wallet must support Batch. The app does not silently send separate payments instead.
Receiving accounts must already be activated and have the required token trust lines. Activate a new recipient with a separate XRP payment first. Tips and invoices retain their single-payment flows. Keep the transaction hash if validation is uncertain; do not resend while its outcome is unknown.
Sending to a new account
A direct XRP payment can activate an unfunded address if it meets the network’s current base reserve. XRPFrontend checks that minimum and highlights the possibility of activation during review. Confirm you intend to fund that exact account.
Escrow and Check creation in this interface require an already activated destination. Use a direct payment first if you control and intend to activate the recipient account.
If you sent the wrong details
XRPFrontend cannot recall a validated payment. For an exchange deposit with a missing or wrong tag, contact that exchange through its official support channel with the transaction hash, address, amount, and time. Do not share a seed phrase or private key.
