Where to find it
Open Tools → Reserve Cleanup or choose Manage reserve beside the reserved XRP balance in Assets. Select the account and network in the wallet menu. The tool reads live reserve values and account objects from a validated ledger.
Released reserve is XRP already owned by the account becoming spendable. It is not cashback, a reward, or a payment. The base account reserve stays reserved. Estimated release is an upper bound; peer trust-line settings, sponsorship and the final validated state can affect actual release. Each action has a separate network fee. Cleanup can proceed below reserve when the account can pay that fee; XRPL network fees can use reserved XRP.
Supported actions
Review and cancel open DEX offers, NFT offers and outgoing Checks; consume unused Tickets with a transaction that changes no account settings; remove address-based deposit preauthorizations; and reset eligible zero-balance trust lines to default settings. Canceling an NFT offer does not burn the NFT. Consuming a Ticket invalidates pre-signed transactions using that Ticket. Removing deposit preauthorization changes deposit permissions.
Eligible outgoing escrows can be canceled after their cancellation time or finished after their release time when no fulfillment is required. Finishing an escrow releases its funds to the destination, in addition to removing reserve. The creation sequence must be verified against the escrow ledger identity. Unresolved or locked escrows remain disabled.
Review each effect
Nonzero trust lines, issuer authorization or freeze settings, sponsored reserve objects, signer lists, NFT pages and other unsupported objects are not removed by this tool. Use their dedicated tools where applicable. Cleanup never burns NFTs, disables signing methods or transfers token balances automatically.
Refresh the reserve list. Optionally filter to eligible actions.
Choose Review cleanup and read the effect, estimated reserve release and exact transaction.
Sign Transaction, approve in your wallet, then Submit signed transaction. The object is checked again during preparation. Refresh after validation.
