Connection availability

Use Connect wallet to authorize XRPFrontend in Xaman. A connected account does not authorize a payment.

Connecting confirms an account identity. It does not authorize a payment. Each payment, escrow action, or check action requires a separate approval.

Connect from a computer

  1. Install and set up Xaman on your phone through its official distribution channels. Keep your recovery information in your own custody.

  2. Open XRPFrontend in a full browser tab and select the intended network. Select Connect wallet → Xaman.

  3. On mobile, authorization opens in the same browser tab. On desktop, use the authorization window and scan its QR code in Xaman. Check the application name.

  4. Approve the connection in Xaman. Return to XRPFrontend; the verified connection and wallet data restore automatically. Check the full account address. Connecting does not submit a ledger transaction or charge an XRP network fee.

Approve a transaction

  1. Complete the Send, Escrow, or Checks form in XRPFrontend. Review the complete transaction and the selected network.

  2. Select Approve with Xaman. XRPFrontend displays a signing-request QR code and an Open Xaman button.

  3. Scan the QR with your phone, or tap Open Xaman when using the phone’s browser. Keep the original XRPFrontend tab open.

  4. Review the transaction inside Xaman: account, network, amount, recipient, tag, and transaction type. Approve only if every detail matches.

  5. Return to XRPFrontend. It checks the signed account, network, signature, and transaction fields before submitting to its selected XRPL network. Wait for a validated result.

  6. To stop before signing, choose Cancel request in XRPFrontend or reject in Xaman. Requests expire after two minutes; an expired transaction needs a fresh review.

Using the same phone

Use the Open Xaman button to switch from the browser to the wallet. After signing, return to the original XRPFrontend browser tab. Do not close it or navigate it away while a transaction is in progress. The request does not replace your original workspace with a return page.

Signing requests are created with automatic submission disabled. XRPFrontend retrieves and checks the signed transaction, then submits it. A wallet approval is not a settlement confirmation.

Use the matching network

XRPFrontend requests MAINNET or TESTNET explicitly for each signing request and rejects a response from a different or unknown network. For Testnet, use a test account available in your Xaman setup; do not assume a funded Mainnet account has a Testnet balance.

If your Xaman account cannot be used on Testnet, practice first with XRPFrontend’s temporary test wallets. Do not switch to real XRP simply to work around a testing problem.

If connection or signing fails

ProblemNext step
No authorization windowAllow pop-ups for XRPFrontend and reconnect from a full browser tab.
Wrong account selectedReject the request, disconnect, and reconnect the intended account.
Wrong network or altered fieldsSubmission is blocked. Check both wallet and XRPFrontend settings; prepare a new review.
Rejected or expired requestNo transaction is submitted by XRPFrontend from that request. Review again if still intended.
Timeout after submissionInspect the transaction hash before retrying; the ledger may already have processed it.
